Pachena

LOA 51'
LWL
Beam 14'
Draft  7'

This was the second sloop of this size and name built at the Jespersen yard for her original owner.

The first was tragically lost on a reef off the west coast of Vancouver Island.  This Pachena was cold molded of five layers of ¼” Sitka spruce laid diagonally and a” fore and aft layer of Honduras mahogany.

Her interior features red oak panels and joinery. Over a ¾”plywood subdeck was laid ½” teak.  Cabin sides are varnished mahogany over ½" plywood.  The windows are trimmed with beaded stops similar to the paneled interior.
