If ever there was a project we advised the owner to start from scratch this was it.
The work began with planing and fairing the existing bottom planking.
The topsides frames and stringers were renewed and faired, then cold molded with diagonal red cedar inside and mahogany outside.
The deck framing was similarly addressed, then given a subdeck of plywood and mahogany glued on top.
A new teardrop shaped covering board, raised king plank and new windscreen were built.
