Reality’s
second life began in 1979. Using the original boat as a plug a new hull was cold molded over the old in two halves and then bonded to a laminated oak keelson. |

Although
her construction was entirely new the spirit of the old remained. |
|
Reality
was fitted out in conventional fashion with the exception that she had no frames. |
 |
|
 |
She has raced successfully in the Pacific Northwest and cruised extensively to the South Pacific and Caribbean. |
|
