originally built
by an Australian
syndicate to
challenge for the
America’s Cup
in 1967.

Douglas Fir planking from Vancouver Island

She was wedge
seamed with
prime Douglas fir
for planking from
the Cowichan Valley
on Vancouver Island.
The timber was
shipped to Australia.
When she was
brought to us her
hull was very sound
but the interior was
just a shell.
